Kō Ā Kai – Cultural Resource Survey & Archeology Study

Join the Kō Ā Kai Project participants along with Nohopapa and Ala Kahakai (NPS) archeologists and practitioners as we conduct a pedestrian reconnaissance survey of our cultural ancient sites ma kai. We will work in groups of 10 people led by our amazing collaborators and field professionals. Lunch, snacks, and dinner will be provided for all participants. This is a community and ʻohana-friendly event, please come prepared with a mask, water bottle, hiking shoes, sun protection, and lots of aloha for our ʻāina kūpuna!
